More about me

Hey there! I’m Haley! I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Liberty University and have gained valuable experience working as a School-Based Mental Health Therapist and Elementary School Guidance Counselor. These roles gave me the opportunity to support individuals through a wide range of academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges—and while much of my early work was with children and teens, I now work with clients of all ages. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, or relationship challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you in the process.

I also have experience as a virtual teacher, which has made me especially comfortable in the online space. That translates seamlessly into the virtual side of my private practice—though I now offer both virtual and in-person sessions! Whether you prefer the convenience of meeting from home or the comfort of my welcoming office space, I’m here to support you in the way that works best for you.

In addition to my clinical training, I hold an undergraduate degree in Christian Studies and have received training in Biblical Counseling. If a faith-based approach is important to you, I’m happy to incorporate that into our work together.

If you're feeling overwhelmed—whether it’s your child struggling with behavioral challenges, or you personally feeling stuck, anxious, or emotionally drained—please know you're not alone. At Essence of Living Private Practice, I create a warm, safe, and engaging space where individuals of all ages can feel comfortable opening up and growing.

Through personalized, evidence-based strategies, I help children, teens, and adults build coping skills, improve relationships, and gain confidence in themselves. Together, we’ll work on managing emotions, improving communication, and facing life’s challenges with strength and resilience.

Wherever you are in your journey, I’d love to support you. Let’s connect and take the next step toward healing—together.
